Heart Hypertrophy in Sportmen

Electrocardiograms of 50 sportsmen (225 electrocardiograms (were analysed. Using the Sokolov-Lyon index, heart hypertrophy was found in 28 sportsmen, i. e. in 77 electrocardiograms (32, 22%), right ventricular hypertrophy in 14 sportsmen, left ventricular hypertrophy in 9 sportsmen and biventricular hypertrophy in 5 sportsmen.
