Pharmacological Analysis of Histamine Function in Central Nervous System

The decrease of histamine in central nervous system supresses rotatory nystagmus, vomiting and diminishes the intensity of the allergic encephalomyelitis. We also showed that the decrease of histamine induced the opposite effect to that induced by histamine increase, when some agents which cause brain acetylcholine increase or decrease were applied.
