Abstract

It has been shown that activators of acetylcholinetransferase — oxotremorine, recosen and K-strophantin — can suppres the growth of Ehrlich ascitcs carcinoma, sarkoma S-180 and leukaemia Ly 1210. The hypothesis has been forwarded that the cause of this effect is acetylcholine which causes growth both in health and malignant tissue.
