Renal lesions in systemic diseases are presented. Systemic diseases are classified as: a) connective tissue diseases; b) infections; c) metabolic disturbances; d) diseases of haematopoietic system and neoplastic diseases. Renal lesions in systemic diseases might be the result of the deposition of immune reactions on kidney structures (lupus nephritis), the deposition of protein molecules due to the difference in isometric change (light chain nephropathy), the lesions of the vessels (systemic sclerosis) etc. The investigation of renal lesions in systemic diseases may result in the understanding of pathogenetic mechanisms of glomerulonephritis as well as the nature of primary disease.
