Abstract

147 sera have been tested in hemagglutination inhibition test (measles and rubella) and haemolysis reaction in Gel (mumps).

- From 57 children sera tested for measles, 26 sera (45,61%) were negative before vaccination. Ali sera had titters 1:4 or more, except two sera with a titter 1:2. After one-year all sera were positive at least 1:4.

- From 35 children sera tested for rubella, all sera had higher titters 6 Weeks and one year after vaccination than the titters before vaccination.

- From 25 children sera tested for mumps, 22 or 88% had no H. I. titters before vaccination. 6 weeks and one year after vaccination all sera have positive seroconversion.

- The titters of 58 fourteen-year-old vaccinated girls 6 weeks after vaccination were high at least 1:32.

This work showed that a domestic attenuated triple vaccine against measles, rubella and mumps, (production of “Institute of Immunology” — Zagreb, Yugoslavia) is immunogenic and that it gives high rate of seroconversion.
