Abstract

The hypertension of old rats was decreased by 6-Hydroxydopamine. The same agent improved the condition of the organism as a whole. 6-Hydroxy-dopamine decreased toxic effect of isoproterenol on heart muscle of rats. It did not protect the rats of lethal doses of ouabain neither in protected the tail of induced gangrene. The injection of 6-Hydroxydopamine did not protect the rats from toxic effect of norbormide. The norbormide is selective poison for rats.
