The Actions of Neuroleptics and Desmethylimipramine on the Effect of Autonomic Nerve Stimulation of Stomach and Vas Deferens

Chlorpromazine, Thioridazine, Trifluoperazine and Fluphenazine decrease the effect of vegetative nerve stimulation. Neurotransmission of stomach is more sensitive then adrenergic nerve effect of duetus deferens. Desmethylimipramine decrease the effect of nerve stimulation stronger than phenothiazines. The decrease of the effect of nerve stimulation is result of phenothiazines effect on membranes and on receptor.
