The Possibilities of Pharmacological Evaluation With Special Regard to Yugoslav Drugs

The pharmacologists from academical institutions should be included in pharmacological evaluation of existing and new future drugs. The pharmacologists from universities and other academical institutions could help the mid-developed pharmaceutical working organisations to grow up from the imitative into innovative industries. The legislation and the regulation of the drugs is becoming more intensive and rigorous. It is insisted more on the safety of drugs and the effectivity of ne\v drugs. There are five phases of finding and obtaining drugs: 1. synthesis, 2. extraction, 3. fermentation, 4. molecular pharmacology and 5. Cellular biology. In the future we expect new knowledge and new possibilities on the level of the cells, genes, transplantation of the tissue with transmitters and so on.
